The air inside the ICU is continuously recirculated through the device The product works on the principle of visible-light photocatalytic oxidation. In a single pass, 100% of the pathogen load is found to be eliminated across the inlet and outlet of the device. The said claim has been validated by the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology and the NIIST CSIR lab against a plethora of pathogens, including the coronavirus, Influenza A, and MERS.
