The product SAPER is the World s First Coconut Sap Tapping Robot with IoT, AI & ML that can perform all the activities of a traditional tapper, and the fresh sap is brought & collected at the ground level without any contamination. A tapper is required only to install and dismantle the device and thus reduces the burden of tree climbs from 270 times to just two times for a coconut flower. A single tapper can handle a hectare of land and increases productivity. Our goal is to revolutionize the economics of coconut tapping in favour of farmers by introducing a tech-enabled harvesting system that includes a robotic tapping device in combination with a centralised collection system. The invention has been patented in 28 counties, covering 80% of the world's total coconut plantation. By introducing a robotic device, we can help to rejuvenate the dying art of coconut sap tapping thereby increasing the sap yield by using robotic precision cutting .
