About Transgreen: Transgreen is the food processing and agri-tech vertical of Transworld Group, delivering fresh and frozen food from India to the GCC, Southeast Asia, USA and Europe. The company serves B2B, HoReCa clients, institutional buyers, and modern retail, offering a wide range of fresh, blast frozen, IQF, freeze dried fruits and vegetables as well as ready to cook, ready to eat, ready to heat & serve products across multiple food categories.
Goal:
- Develop a buyer-seller platform enabling right target customers from select demographics across various verticals of business/channels of sales across range of food products.
- Develop a comprehensive, AI-enabled market intelligence ecosystem to help Transgreen make demand-driven production and sales planning decisions in the fresh and frozen foods category across key geographies.
Background & Challenge:
Transgreen currently faces a gap in actionable market demand visibility across multiple products. With seasonal fluctuations, fragmented distributor networks, and changing food safety norms, we seek a single platform that enables holistic decision-making — especially across regions like GCC, India, Southeast Asia, and Europe etc.,
Scope of Work:
The proposed platform should act as a command center for the CEO and commercial teams, offering insights on:
- Seasonal demand patterns at SKU level (e.g., IQF, Blast Frozen Vegetables, Drumsticks), mapped to consumption geographies and volumes
- Product-wise sales trends, quality benchmarks, pricing volatility, shelf-life, and wastage analysis
- Supplier intelligence: key producers by category, quality standards, certifications (FSSC, HACCP), past performance, fulfilment reliability, and export capacity • Customer mapping: top customers by category and region, including volumes, margins, compliance norms, and cold-chain capability
- Price benchmarking: real-time price comparisons by grade, quality, pack type, and origin (e.g., India vs. Vietnam okra)
- Norms & trade regulations: import duties, permissible chemical residues, packaging compliance, country-specific trade barriers
Outcome:
A SaaS-based market intelligence platform (potentially mobile-accessible), designed to:
