Problem Statement
KITE is seeking technology solutions for the following challenges in Agripreneurship
Problem 1. Finding feasible solutions for starting Precision Farming / Hydroponics and other such Technology based Agripreneurship solutions.
- Data Collection using Remote Sensing techniques.
- Soil Parameter monitoring (PH Value, Water Content, presence of required nutrients etc).
- Monitoring the health of plants.
- Application of pesticides with minimum possible quantity to a large area of land.
Problem 2. Cloud based SaaS applications in the field of Agriculture and farming.
- Data Analysis
- Suggesting application of required nutrients and other additives to the soil.
- Suggestions for pest control.
- Plant growth monitoring and improvisation methods etc to individual farms / farmers who are subscribers of the application.
Problem 3. Market aggregating solutions that connect farmers and consumers directly without middlemen.
- Using modern technologies and market intervention tools to connect Demand & Supply
- End-To-End financial transaction flow required.
Eligibility
- Any startup registered in Kerala
- Startup should have unique id(KSUM) and DPIIT number(startup India) at the time of awarding the PoC/business
